STEVE GRUNINGER, beloved husband of the late Eva (nee Powell) Gruninger of Magrath, passed away at the Good Samaritan Society Garden Vista, on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at the age of 91 years.
STEVE GRUNINGER, beloved husband of the late Eva (nee Powell) Gruninger of Magrath, passed away at the Good Samaritan Society Garden Vista, on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at the age of 91 years.
He is lovingly remembered by his children, Afton (Ray) Johnson of Champion, AB, Bryan (Elaine) Gruninger of Lethbridge, AB, Richard (Doris) Gruninger of Magrath, AB, and Margaret (Gerry) Henry of Del Bonita, AB; 15 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren as well as his sister, Elizabeth Stanek of Magrath, AB.
Steve was predeceased by his parents, Steve and Theresa Gruninger, his daughters, Roberta Jane (nee Gruninger) Grass and Laurel Lea (nee Gruninger) Hansen, his brother and sister-in-law, George and Irene Gruninger, his second wife, Dorothy (nee Balderson) Gruninger as well as his brother-in-law Eugene Stanek.
Steve worked for J.A. Ririe until 1979 then worked for the M.D. of Cardston until his retirement.
A Graveside Service will be held at the MAGRATH CEMETERY - on Monday, July 24th, 2017 at 4:00 P.M. with Woody Gruninger officiating.

I remember your dad down on the farm with Grandpa Lon. Always the kidders, those two. This last year I have worked with Steve at The Good SAmaritans and grew to love him. Such a sweet sense of humor he had. He always had a kind word. He is sadly missed by us all
