Gross, Carl

CARL "COSMO" driver of "THE HULK OF RANDA" GROSS, of Raymond, beloved father of Irvin Gross, passed away suddenly in a tragic motor vehicle accident on Thursday, March 5, 2015 at the age of 37 years young.

He is the loved one of his loving son and best friend, Irvin Gross of Raymond, loving friend and mother of Celosia Leewes-Mason, friend and step-father of Jayson Wright, friends and siblings of Eldon, Larissa and Jaydon, son of Jacob and Barbara Gross, brother of Rosa (Peter) Mandel and Matilda (Glen) Waldner as well as part of the family at Randa Transport. He is also survived by Paulette Leewes and Kerry Mason, grandparents of Irvin and many, many friends.

He is predeceased by his grandparents.

Carl was born at Brant Colony and lived there during his early childhood. As an older child, he grew up at Mialta Colony. He was a very hard worker, working in farming, oil and gas, mining and driving. His childhood dream of driving semi was his main career. In his 203, he chose to be a father. He always put his son before himself ever after and was a best friend in every way to his boy. He spent every day he didn't work with his son and often took his son to work. He achieved his dream job at the company he always wanted to work at, Randa Transport where he will be missed and drove a truck he was proud to drive. He greeted strangers and friends alike with a smile, nod and hello. Carl didn't ask anyone for anything and when he was given to, was always humble and grateful. Words cannot describe his beauty and all who knew him are glad we did.

A Celebration of Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME - 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB. on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 1:00 P.M.

In memory of Carl, donations may be made to any ATB location to a trust fund set up in Irvin's Gross' name, to support his future education.
