GRACE MARGUERITE MARSHALSAY passed away on December 8, 2008, at the age of 97. She was born in Tawatinaw, Alberta to Elizabeth and Fred Strutton. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her. She was incredibly active in the community; a member of Southminster United Church, Senior Games Medallist, Alberta Softball Champion, Rebekah Lodge member, Lazy Daisies Club member, Sketch Club member, and served as both Mumsy and Crafty at Camp Inuspi and Canyon Church Camp. She also enjoyed fishing, hiking, swimming, tap dancing, clogging, yoga, knitting, sewing, needlework, ceramics, and painting. There was nothing she would not try. She was a caring friend, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was predeceased by her loving husband, Jimmy (James) Marshalsay. She is survived by her two children, JoAnne Smith, and her husband Ken of Edmonton, Alberta and David Marshalsay, and his wife Connie of White Rock, British Columbia. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and numerous extended families. Her infectious laugh and zest for life will live in our hearts forever. Inurnment will be held at MOUNTAIN VIEW CEMETERY, 11 Street and Scenic Drive South, Lethbridge, on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 12:00 P.M. A Celebration of Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Frank Lewis officiating. A luncheon will follow. At Grace’s request, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
