JUDITH "JUDY" ANN GODLONTON, beloved wife of Kirk Godlonton, passed away at St. Michael's Health Centre Palliative Care Unit, on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the age of 65 years.
JUDITH "JUDY" ANN GODLONTON, beloved wife of Kirk Godlonton, passed away at St. Michael's Health Centre Palliative Care Unit, on Tuesday, May 21, 2019 at the age of 65 years.
Besides her husband Kirk, Judy is survived by her children Carrie (Gord) Larson of Magrath and Codey Godlonton of Lethbridge and three grandchildren: Aspen Larson (Austin) of Magrath, Mickyla Larson of Magrath and Kirk Brent Godlonton of Magrath. She is also survived by two brothers Monte (Gerrie) Shaw of Lethbridge and Tim (Shelley) Shaw of Lethbridge and Kirk's family as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Judy was predeceased by her parents Ruby and Ernest, and an infant brother Frankie.
Judy was proud to be the Executive Director of the Lethbridge Legal Guidance Society and was honoured in 2013 with the YWCA Women of Distinction Award, for her involvement in community leadership and enhancement. She spent many hours quilting, sewing and cooking and always loved spending time with family and friends.
At Judy's request, there will be no formal funeral service. In memory of Judy, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, #200, 325 Manning Road N.E., Calgary, AB, T2E 2P5.
