George Russell
George is survived by his brothers-in-law: Bill Craik, Roy (Moira) Sandberg and Doug Sandberg; and sister-in-law Joyce Rollingson; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was “Uncle George the Great” to many more nieces and nephews, and he was even a great-great-uncle (he like that title).

George was a promoter of Milk River. He was very active in the community; he served on many boards and was always willing to flip hamburgers or pancakes. We will all miss his quick wit and humor.
A private family service will be held.

George will be missed. He was always good for a visit and a few laughs. He was a great supporter of our dances at the LSCO in Lethbridge, where he’d arrive with a carload of Milk River ladies, and enjoy the evening dancing and visiting. He’d ask Sherry why she was still singing with “that bunch of losers”, and laugh, and laugh, and laugh. The day was always better with George in it.
You will be missed George whether it be flipping pancakes or sharing table with us at the annual coop conventions. And yes even one glass of wine a rare catch with a fitting joke saying no one will believe you when you got home. RIP George you were one of a kind. The Hartys.

George will be deeply missed by one and all who knew him. I always looked forward to the visit with him at the post office grocery store and my favourite place an auction sale. Many fond memories
