It is with broken hearts that we, the family of DONALD ANTHONY GEIGER, announce his passing on Wednesday May 13, 2020 at the age of 66.

He is survived by his daughter Hayley (Matthew) Reed, and son Mark (Judy) Geiger; sister Deanna (Zenon) Malec; four grandchildren; a nephew and his children, and two nieces.

He is predeceased by his parents Anton and Lillian Jeanette Geiger.

Don was born in Moose Jaw, SK on April 3, 1954. He lived there with his sister and parents until the age of 10 when his dad was transferred to Lethbridge for his job with Canadian Government Elevators. Don went to Catholic Central High School where he met his long-time friend Bill (Leslie) Currie who he has remained friends with to this day.

Don was a very hard-working, responsible man. His first job was at Hurlburt auction. He placed a high importance on education. He attended the University of Alberta from 1972-73 before returning to Lethbridge to apprentice as an electrician, earning his journeyman ticket. After working as an electrician, he continued his education, receiving his Master Electrician's Certificate from the Lethbridge Community College in 1992. He worked as a foreman at D.A. Electric for most of his adult life, retiring at the age of 60.

Don loved the outdoors. He loved hiking and camping in the mountains. He especially loved going to Waterton Lakes National Park. He bought a Harley motorbike when his kids were older and traveled to many places including Mount Rushmore, Washington, Memphis, "The River of No Return" in Idaho, and so many more places in Canada and the U.S.

A Public Visitation will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 - 32 St. S, Lethbridge, AB on Thursday, May 21, 2020 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM.

A Celebration of Don's Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME on Friday, May 22, 2020 at 1:00 PM. Though gatherings restrictions have been eased, we are limited to a crowd of 50 people with social distancing still in effect.

In Don's memory, donations may be made to Parkinson Association of Alberta.
