GARRETT CALLAGHAN

GARRETT ROBERT CALLAGHAN, beloved companion of Mackenzie Becker, of Lethbridge, passed away suddenly on Friday, October 10, 2008 at the age of 21 years. Besides his loving companion, he is survived by his parents, Robert and Heather Callaghan of McBride, B.C.; his brother, Brad (Breanne) Callaghan, of Lethbridge; his maternal grandparents, Neda Harte (Jim Gunn) of Prince George, B.C.; Jim Harte of McBride, B.C.; Paternal Grandparents Art and Ila Callaghan of Chase, B.C.; and his aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his great grandma Tillie Hubele. Garrett was born January 5, 1987 in Prince George, B.C. He was raised, educated and graduated in McBride, B.C. Garrett moved to Lethbridge in 2005 to pursue a career in the welding trade. Garrett was a 2nd year apprentice at LCC at the time of his passing. Garrett loved hockey, snowboarding, hiking, golf and poker. He also played the guitar. He was a warm caring person who gave the best hugs. Garrett was a people person who enjoyed practical jokes. His smile will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. A Celebration of Garrett’s Life will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, on Wednesday, October 15, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. Cremation.
