CLARA GARBER (nee Harty), beloved wife of Herbert Garber for 60 years, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 22nd, 2015 at the age of 84 years.
Mom was born July 13, 1930 in Medicine Hat, AB and was raised in the Faith/Foremost area. On February 21, 1955, mom married the love of her life, Herbert Garber and together they raised their 6 children on the family farm.
Mom's greatest love was her family. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren brought her such wonderful joy. Over the years she loved to cook, bake, garden, sew and entertain. Sunday afternoons were often spent preparing her famous fried chicken for our supper guests. Her grandchildren, nieces and nephews fondly remember the wonderful meals she would prepare.
