ROBERT WILLIAM "BOB" GALLOWAY, beloved father and grandfather, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at the age of 71 years.
Bob is survived by his wife Margaret, his sons Joe (Charlene) and Patrick (Michelle) as well as his grandchildren Jared, Trent, Brooklyn, London, Kiersten and Hunter.
Bob was raised by his loving parents Joe and Olive in Vivan, MB and later settled and raised his family in Anola, MB. Bob was hardworking and determined. He had many entrepreneurial ventures, including a storage and seed business and later "Willy Wipes" cloths. For over 35 years, Bob was a mason and shriner. He enjoyed farming the family homestead and working for Shell Canada for over 25 years. After retirement, Bob and Margaret moved to Lethbridge to be closer to their sons and grandchildren.
The family would like to thank his wonderful neighbours for their assistance and compassion. Also, thank you to the doctors and nurses for their care during his stay at the Chinook Regional Hospital.
At Bob's request, there will be no formal funeral service. A small celebration of life for family and friends will be held at a later date in Anola, MB.
In lieu of flowers and in memory of Bob, donations may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 1003 Decarie Blvd., Montreal, Quebec H4A 0A9.
