Dear Mary and Jeff, I am so sorry for your loss my heart goes out to the both of you. I am so sorry that I could not get there again to see you guys but the circumstances dictated otherwise. Wayne was a true friend to me all of the years through school until his passing. Over the years many stories passed by like water under the bridge. I will miss him dearly and definitely miss all those discussions we agreed on and even more so agreed to disagree on. God bless the both of you and I will definitely be in touch.

Mary, I wish to extend my deepest sympathies to you and your family of your loss.
I have known Wayne most of my life as I too went to school in Cranbrook. As a young teen, our family moved to Edmonton and I too joined the Force after graduation. Having been station at "K" Div HQ for a time way back when during Wayne's staffing days, it was an opportunity for us to reconnect after a long absence apart. It was another surprise seeing that the two of you also decided to retire in Lethbridge. This again provided the two of us to once again swap many "lies" and good fellowship while in the company of other veteran brothers.
I too will miss him ... he was a "brother" and friend.
God Bless!

The term "carry on" is at times like this extremely hard to do, however truly necessary. Jeff, memories are beautiful things. Dwell on the happy events you shared with your Dad. Laugh and smile, and cry, even if only silently, it is part of the healing process. Hold all these great things close, they will help you through these trying times.

It is with great sadness that I send this message. I have great memories of Wayne having worked with him during his Staffing days. Wayne always had that great wisdom one could learn from, as I did. Wayne also shared his famous mandarin orange salad recipe that I still use today. Mary and Jeff, I offer you my deepest condolences during this time of sorrow.

For Mary and Jeff
Mary it is at times like this that we wonder where life went and it seemed like only yesterday that we played cards with you and Wayne in your dining room in Spruce Grove. Our boys Jonathan and Jeff growing up together; and now they are older than we were, when we lived across the alley from you and Wayne. For us they were treasured times and then we realize that it really has been a long time. But now time here on earth has limits we just don't know what they are. We just want to you and Jeff to know that we will always have a place in our hearts and cherish the memories of our time with you and Wayne and Jeff.
May the peace of Christ be with you both at this time of grieving. May God give you strength to sustain you and grant you the "peace that passes all understanding". John and Sally

Mary, first of all, my deepest sympathies on the loss of Wayne. In the far to short of time I got to know Wayne, I can tell you I treasured his friendship. Every time he came to the dealership he was always a pleasure to sit with and have a chat. It was also enjoyable when you folks were cleaning out the Taber house and we had a chance to do a few things together and learn a bit more history of Wayne and your family. I must tell you, when my sister Marie informed me of Wayne's condition I was greatly saddend.. I pray for strength for you and Jeff as you deal with this very tremendous loss in your lives. I hope I get a chance to sit with you in the future and perhaps share some fond memories. For now , please accept Faye and my hopes for yourself and Jeff. God Bless
