Marty was born and raised in Fort Frances, Ontario. He started his career in finance and retail business, moved to British Columbia in 1978 when he purchased the Savona Hotel that he operated until 1981, where he also married Vikki. I was sadden at the news of Marty's passing. I chummed with him till his first marriage. We had some good times. Don't know if he ever got over us filling his Torino GT with puffed rice on his wedding night.
So sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are you.
My sincerest sympathies to you Vikki and also to Clarice Bob and all of Marty,s family and friends. I graduated Fort Frances High School the same year and we celebrated together. I am so sad to see how many are left behind. Again, my heart goes out to all

I wish to extend my sympathy to the family of Marty Gadd. I worked at the U of L for the last 26 years (recently retired), in the Payroll department. Working with Marty was a pleasure and I enjoyed his sense of humor. I am sad to hear of his passing and my heart goes out to your family.
