FRANK FOSTER SHERMAN, beloved husband of Josy Sherman of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Sunday, April 6, 2008 at the age of 81 years. Besides his loving wife Josy, he is survived by his children Rennie Sherman of Black Diamond, Frances (Dave) Gaskell of Lethbridge and Cidnee Robinson of Lethbridge, grandchildren; Scott (Krista) Gaskell, Robin (Jodie) Gaskell, Lonnee Sherman (Travis Lodermeier) and Dallyn Robinson (Justin Reimer) as well as 2 great granddaughters Phoenix Lee Reimer and Frankie Sherman-Lodermeier. He was predeceased by his parents Frank and Ada Sherman and only brother Sydney Sherman. Frank attended Galbraith Elementary School and graduated from LCI High School. He went on to become a printer with the Lethbridge Herald. His career spanned 39 years and saw many changes from hand setting type to computerization. He then became supervisor of the department and retired at the age of 61 in 1988. Frank met Josy Joevenazzo in Lethbridge and married 2 years later on August 21, 1948. They had 3 children whom he loved dearly. In his life Frank enjoyed several pastimes besides his job and family. Frank was known to fish, play darts, garden, take bicycle rides and long walks. More recently his life revolved around his wife and family and his coffee buddies, Buck, Ray and John. He will be fondly and lovingly missed and remembered by all. Relatives and friends are invited to a Visitation prior to the Service at Cornerstone Funeral Home from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Friday, April 11, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Darrin Parkin officiating. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
