Paul spent his childhood in Erinview and Inwood Manitoba. Paul being the eldest child left school after completing The 8th grade, so he could help out on the family farm, where he spent countless hours. Paul continued to help out the family even after moving away from home. It was when his family moved to Teulon and he was there helping out, he met the love of his life Teri. Paul and Teri got married on April 20, 1963. Paul and Teri spent their early Married life together in Winnipeg. It was there they welcomed their first 4 children. The family moved from Winnipeg to Lethbridge in 1977 where David joined the family.
Paul was a very proud Metis Elder and enjoyed hunting and fishing in his spare time. Paul also enjoyed the time he had while serving on the board of Child and family Services. But nothing compared to the love he had for his family and friends. Paul always put family first and cherished spending quality time with all of them.
