CECILIA ANNA FIFIELD passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 25, 2010 at St. Therese Villa with her family by her side.

Cecilia was born in Riceton, Saskatchewan on February 23, 1923.

She was predeceased by her husband John Fifield, her parents, brother John, sister Marie and son-in-law Carl Chase.

Cecilia is survived by 5 daughters; Sheryl Chase, Pat (Dennis) Miller, Jean Lowe, Judy (Tim) Baxter, Flora (Dave) Bray and 2 sons; Warren (Deb) Fifield and Jim Fifield (Edith). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren; Jason Lowe (Tamara), Breanna (Darrin) Harrold, Ryan Baxter, Brad Miller (Chance), Matt Fifield and Kyle Bray, also 3 great-grandchildren; Tayven, Koen and Maksym Harrold as well as sisters; Therese, Pat, Ann. Fran, brother Tom and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cecilia was an avid sports fan and spent many hours attending her grandchildren’s games, watching the Flames and the Jays and listening to the Hurricanes.
She enjoyed baking, knitting, sewing, camping and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was happiest when surrounded by family. Cecilia was affectionately known as Grandma by many others. She was a compassionate and thoughtful woman who touched the lives of all who knew her.

A private family service will be held as per Cecilia’s wishes.
