FERN MORRISON passed away peacefully in Lethbridge on Sunday, June 22, 2008. Fern was born March 13, 1928 in Moose Jaw, SK to Purvis and Mary Wilson (Kerr). Fern was predeceased by her mother Mary Wilson, father Purvis Wilson, husband Will Morrison and three brothers Jack, Ron and Albert Wilson. Fern is survived by her two sons Brent (Chris), grandsons Jason and Jonathan, and Darcy (Ricki), step grandchildren Matthew and Shannon (Greg) and great grandson Jarron. Fern worked in several different retail positions, her first being with her mother in Joiners retail store in Moose Jaw. Fern also served eight years in the RCAF and was posted in France, Comox, B.C., Goose Bay, LB and Winnipeg, MB, where she met and married Robert John Willkie “Will” Morrison. Fern was a warm loving mother who would do anything for her family, and enjoyed bowling with the girls on Tuesday mornings for years. Fern was a very private person but once you got to know her you could not help but love her. Fern will be sadly missed by her family and friends. No service will be held at the family’s request.
