CAMILLA “MILLIE” LOUISE (BLICO) (VORNBROCK) FEIST of Milk River passed away peacefully on February 9th, 2011 at the age of 94. She is lovingly remembered by her children Les (Marion) Vornbrock, Harold (Marian) Vornbrock, Rick Feist, and Brenda Simmons. Her grandchildren Ben (Tammy), Robert, Clifford (Audrey), Keith (Melissa), Teresa (Joe), Ernie (Renae), her great-grandchildren Trevor, Jordon, Lindsey, Lauryn, Hanna, Krystal, Brandon, Lachelle, Kimberlee, Devin, and great great-children Tristan, Taylor, and Lexi. Millie was predeceased by her husband Ben, husband John, and grandson Les Jr. Millie was born in Detroit, Michigan on December 20, 1916 and grew up on a farm five miles east of Milk River. She married Ben Vornbrock on January 15, 1935 and Ben, with Millie’s help, took over the family farm. They had two boys Les and Harold. Ben passed away in July of 1947. Millie remarried to John Feist in October of 1949. They had a son Rick and adopted a daughter Brenda. John and Millie built a house in Milk River where they raised their family. Millie worked at the hospital for 18 years as a cook. She dedicated herself to the CWL and was a chartered member of the Royal Purple. Millie made many cake for weddings, anniversaries and birthdays. She loved to dance, bowl, play cards, entertain, grew a large garden, and played bingo. When she retired to Prairie Rose Lodge she began to slow down. She then moved to the Milk River Health Center where she was a long time resident for 6 years before moving on to her heavenly home. Love and missed, but never far from our hearts because you are a piece of it. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at ST. PETER’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 321 Main Street, Milk River, on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Dominic Nguyen, Celebrant.
