PHILIP ELLERT, of Milk River, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Milk River Health Centre on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the age of 71 years.
PHILIP ELLERT, of Milk River, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at the Milk River Health Centre on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at the age of 71 years.
Philip is survived by Melanie, Ryan and Everly Anker; Ryan, Brynne and Amber Ellert; and his sisters, Doreen, Joan, Arlene and Valerie.
He was predeceased by his father, Raymond Ellert, his mother, Iona Ellert, and his brother, Daryl Ellert.
A Prayer Service will be held at ST. PETER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 301 Main St. NW, Milk River, AB on Tuesday, October 27, 2020 at 6:00 PM with Father Salvador Ahumada officiating.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. PETER'S CATHOLIC CHURCH on Wednesday, October 28, 2020 at 11:30 AM with Father Salvador Ahumada celebrating.
Both events will be livestreamed and can be viewed via Philip's obituary on Cornerstone's website. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, kindly RSVP your attendance to Cornerstone at 403-381-7777 or care@cornerstonefh.ca. Seating at both events will be limited to 45 guests. Facemasks are mandatory and will be available upon entry.

Thinking of You Ryan and Melanie and Families Sorry for your Loss We enjoyed Phil and our travels, colleen got to visit Him back in Milk River. Phil had a great smile and laugh who was a wonderful person. He enjoyed HIS kids. Sincerely Boyd/Colleen
We remember Phil being very Charismatic and loyal in our church in Taber. We came to know him well through the church and the Live In. He was proud to wear the Live In cross and was a great example for all of us to follow. We were unable to spend much time with him these last few years, but he has been in our minds and prayers. We will keep him and his family in prayer.
