ELEONORA CAROLINA MILLER, beloved wife of Clarence Miller of Lethbridge formerly of Taber, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Friday, September 28, 2007 at the age of 93 years. Besides her loving husband, she is survived by her siblings; Freida Wilson of New Westminster, B.C., Margaret Klein of New Westminster, B.C., Alma Klipsch of Surrey, B.C., Gerdie Stade of Dashwood, ON, Elda Freer of Revelstoke, B.C., Charlotte Lowenberg of Windthorst, SK and Herb (Delores) Biesenthal of Broadview, SK, 2 brothers-in-law and 2 sisters-in-law as well as numerous nieces and nephews and their families. She was predeceased by her parents Reinhart & Emma, 3 brothers Nick, Ted and Walter Biesenthal and sisters Alvina Olson, Martha Miller, Hilda Miller and Teresa Molson. Eleonora was born June 16, 1914 near Kipling, SK. She was raised on the family farm and later educated at Concordia College to become a teacher. Eleonora taught at a number of public schools in Saskatchewan. Then she taught in Parochial Schools in Ottawa and later in Michigan. Eleonora met Clarence and they were married in 1959. They farmed together for over 20 years near Sibbald, AB. In 1979 they retired to Taber and moved to Lethbridge in 2005. Eleonora was a loving and caring wife and friend who will be sadly missed. She was fond of music, playing the piano and accordion. She also enjoyed to sing. Eleonora loved to garden and cook, spending many wonderful hours doing both. A Funeral Service will be held at PEACE LUTHERAN CHURCH, 4619 - 56th Avenue, Taber, AB on Thursday, October 4, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Jamie Waring officiating. Interment to follow at Taber Cemetery. In memory of Eleonora, donations may be made to a charity of your choice.
