Ed was born on April 13, 1938 at home in Abee, Alberta. He spent the majority of his life working in the oil industry until he retired in 2006. He lived and worked in many places, spending some time in the Edmonton area and in Calgary, Drumheller and Lethbridge.
Work kept him busy and away from home for weeks at a time, and although it was difficult to develop any hobbies, he always loved having a nice lawn. He found it enjoyable to water, cut the grass and watch it grow. In his retirement, he found he enjoyed reading and jigsaw puzzles. He always liked spending time with friends over dinner and perhaps some games.
A small service will be held at a later date.
