Dunsmore, Debra

DEBRA DUNSMORE, mother of Jared Ian King, passed away quietly at Good Samaritans Garden Vista Cottage in Magrath, AB at the age of 71 years.

Debra was born in Cardston to Alan and Jean (nee Buer) Dunsmore, the youngest of five siblings. Her early years were spent in Vauxhall where she graduated from Vauxhall High School. She obtained her teaching degree at the University of Lethbridge. She taught at Lomond Elementary School, worked as records manager at the Alberta Transportation office in Lethbridge, and as an information and records manager for the Government of Alberta in Edmonton. Her favourite social breakfast spots were "On the Rocks" in Edmonton and "Pop's Pub North" in Lethbridge. Debra retired in September 2014, after which she returned to Lethbridge.

Debra was predeceased by her parents, her brothers, Don (Lois), Dale (Cathie), Robert (Diane) and her sister, Geraldine. She leaves behind her son, six nephews and nieces and good friends and caregivers, Claire and Terry Beaton.
