Dorothy Tomita
She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Shizuo (Suzi); her daughter Patti (Brian) Wright and their sons Brad (Robbyn), Rob (Grace), and Tyler (Michele); her son Rod (Nica) and their children Ryan and Suzi; and honorary “other” daughter Shelley (Mark) Murakami.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Shizuo (Suzi); her daughter Patti (Brian) Wright and their sons Brad (Robbyn), Rob (Grace), and Tyler (Michele); her son Rod (Nica) and their children Ryan and Suzi; and honorary “other” daughter Shelley (Mark) Murakami.
She leaves behind eight great-grandchildren — Rowen, Weston, Oakley, Porter, Lennon, Logan, Decker, and Noah — each of whom brought her joy and pride. She is also survived by her sister, May Nishikawa.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the second-floor care staff at Legacy Lodge and to Dr. Garland Jonker for their exceptional care and compassion.
A Come and Go Celebration of life will be held at NIKKA YUKO BUNKA CENTRE, 835 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., with a short program at 4:30 P.M.

So sorry to hear about Dorothy's passing. I have wonderful memories of growing up next door, the Tomitas were the best neighbours anyone could ask for. Dorothy always spoiled me with her delicious cooking and visits. She will be dearly missed. Sending our heartfelt condolences to the whole family.
