She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Shizuo (Suzi); her daughter Patti (Brian) Wright and their sons Brad (Robbyn), Rob (Grace), and Tyler (Michele); her son Rod (Nica) and their children Ryan and Suzi; and honorary “other” daughter Shelley (Mark) Murakami.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, Shizuo (Suzi); her daughter Patti (Brian) Wright and their sons Brad (Robbyn), Rob (Grace), and Tyler (Michele); her son Rod (Nica) and their children Ryan and Suzi; and honorary “other” daughter Shelley (Mark) Murakami.

She leaves behind eight great-grandchildren — Rowen, Weston, Oakley, Porter, Lennon, Logan, Decker, and Noah — each of whom brought her joy and pride. She is also survived by her sister, May Nishikawa.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the second-floor care staff at Legacy Lodge and to Dr. Garland Jonker for their exceptional care and compassion.

A Come and Go Celebration of life will be held at NIKKA YUKO BUNKA CENTRE, 835 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M., with a short program at 4:30 P.M.
