MRS. DOROTHY M. LACEY, beloved wife of the late John Lacey of Lethbridge, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 1, 2008 at the age of 88 years. She is survived by her children Patricia Lacey (Rick Burley) of Lethbridge and Catherine (Wayne) Petersen of Pollock Pines, California, grandchildren; Nicole (Keith) Anderson of Calgary, Joey Petersen of Las Vegas, Nevada, Danyelle Petersen (Ryan Lopez) of Huntington Beach, California and Kelly Petersen of Orlando, Florida as well as 1 great grandson Tyler Lopez. She is also survived by her brother Dick Gruenwald of Lethbridge and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband John in 2004, siblings Marguerite, Irene, Mildred, Ben, Evelyn and Wilfred. Dorothy was born November 13, 1919 in Warner where she was raised and educated. She met and married John in 1946 and together lived in Lethbridge their whole lives. Dorothy worked in the China Department at Hoyt’s Hardware for over 30 years. She was a long time member of St. Patrick’s Church as well as the CWL. She will be missed. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. PATRICK’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 917 - 4th Avenue South, Lethbridge on Friday, February 8, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. with Reverend Tim Boyle Celebrant. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
