Doris Queenie Clark, beloved wife of the late Mr. Frank Clark, passed away at the St. Michael’s Health Centre, Lethbridge, Alberta, on September 3rd, 2012 at the age of 96 years. Doris is survived by her sons Frank (Erica) Clark from Lethbridge, Derrick (Lorraine) Clark and Peter (Rosanne) Clark from Prince George, B.C., daughter Jean (Jim) Benson from Cranbrook, B.C., Eunice Clark of Prince George, B.C., as well as 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her sister Jean McDaid of London, England. She was predeceased by her husband Frank, son David, brothers George, Sid, Johnny, and Albert, her sister Marge, and her mother Clara and father George. Doris was born October 22, 1915 in London, England and was the eldest of 7 children. She immigrated to Canada at the end of World War II, in 1947 they landed in Halifax then took the train to the family farm in Shaughnessy, Alberta. In 1955, she moved into Lethbridge. She spent her time “taking care of the old folks” expecting nothing in return. The funeral will be at ST. AUGUSTINE’S ANGLICAN CHURCH, 411 - 11 Street South, Lethbridge, Alberta, on Saturday, September 8, 2012 at 2:30 PM with Canon Allan McCuaig officiating. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
