After school, she met her husband, Charles. They married in November 1944 and went on to raise five loving children.
Dorrie has resided for the last seven years at Garden View Lodge, where she met some wonderful friends. She would spend her afternoons playing scrabble and crib.
In the last few years, Dorrie enjoyed her weekly crib games with great-grandson Dylan, who would bring all her favorite chocolate treats to eat while they played; granddaughter Amber would also bring her cinnamon buns weekly.
We would like to say a big thank you to Adrian and his amazing staff at Garden View Lodge. Special thanks to Dr. Musk for his care of Dorrie and to all of the Palliative Care team who took care of Dorrie in her last few weeks.
Dorrie will be laid to rest with her beloved husband Charlie in a private Family Service at Archmount Cemetery.
