MRS. LYNNE DORCHAK, beloved wife of Mr. Dan Dorchak, left this world peacefully and with dignity with her devoted family by her side on Sunday February 13 at the age 59 years. Besides her husband Dan, Lynne is survived by Denise (Jack) Ross of Toronto, ON; Beth (Todd) Callihoo of Sylvan Lake and Bryon Dorchak of Toronto, ON; her “grandbabies” Jackson and Travis Ross and Kurin Callihoo. Also survived by her father John Jespersen (Lu), brothers and sisters John Jr. (Leah); Tom (Marsha); Roberta (Henk); Bruce (Brenda); Tim (Deb); Patti (Greg) and brother-in-law Kevin Virostek. Along with Art and Lydia Perini, Wendy Perini (Dale), mother in law Vicki Dorchak and her family Ron (Deb), Cindy (Merlyn), Brad (Lisa), Kathy (George), Joel (Gwen), Monte (Ildi) and numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Lynne was predeceased by her mother Bette Jespersen, sister Wendy Virostek, infant brother Gordon, first husband Robert Perini, and father-in-law Stewart Dorchak. Lynne was born in Taber, AB on March 21, 1951, where she grew up on the family farm. Nothing was more important to Lynne than her family. She had an immense capacity to love and care for everyone she knew. Never being afraid of hard work made Lynne a proud farmer’s wife, successful business owner and great role model. She had such a great sense of humor and her laugh was always infectious, comforting and healing - even in her final days. It was this humour and gift of the gab that graced her with the ability to build a strong and fiercely dedicated group of friends - from all walks of life. She will never be forgotten. A Funeral Service for Lynne will be held at SOUTHMINSTER UNITED CHURCH, 1011-4 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB on Thursday, February 17, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. with Reverend Deborah Lannon and Reverend Aldeen McKay officiating. A Private Family Interment will follow in the Mountain View Cemetery.
