DONALD ‘DON’ RICHARD HYDE, beloved husband of the late Joanne Hyde of Lethbridge, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Wednesday, April 29, 2009 at the age of 70 years. Don is survived by his two daughters Leslie Garcia of Red Deer and Jody (Darrell) Bohle of Lethbridge and by their mother Joy Owens; three step-daughters Janice, Barb and Karyn and their families of Calgary; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is also survived by two sisters; Judy (Wilf) Dalton and Shiela Fehr; three brothers, Rod, Leonard and Bernie Hyde; his second wife Lee and numerous nieces and nephews. Don was predeceased by his parents Elizabeth and Matt Hyde and his 3rd wife Joanne. Don was born June 7, 1938 in Lethbridge where he was raised and educated. Don was a true entrepreneur. He loved sports of all kinds especially baseball. He enjoyed music and was a great dancer. Don was a unique person whose presence was felt by many. A Memorial Service will be held at the LETHBRIDGE CHRISTIAN TABERNACLE, 1805- 9TH Avenue North, Lethbridge on Monday, May 4, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Bill Roycroft officiating.
