LANCE DEVINE passed away suddenly in Lethbridge, on Wednesday, May 19, 2021 at the age of 39 years.
Lance Edward Devine was born to Dorothy Devine on July 5th, 1981. He was raised by Alice and Bernard Webster and grew up as a close brother to Twila Devine and Ian Devine. He attended Assumption Elementary School, St. Francis Junior High and graduated from Catholic Central High School. While growing up, on numerous occasions throughout his childhood and as an adult, he drove with his family and other times would fly across Canada to go visit his grandparents in Wingham, Ontario. While in Toronto, he visited multiple attractions including the Metro Toronto Zoo (One of Canada's Famous Zoo's) and the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM). While he visited London, Ontario, he also explored the Story Book Garden and loved every bit of it. He also visited Niagara Falls, and Welland Canal. He lived most of his life in Lethbridge and Cardston, but he loved to travel. Besides Ontario, he also traveled throughout Canada and Montana. He disliked being inside but when he was, he loved watching movies. While he was outside, he loved going camping, fishing and golfing. He enjoyed golfing so much as a teenager that he had his own clubs. He especially loved being outside with his brother Ian, friends and cousins while playing basketball and doing other activities. He was close to all his cousins and siblings. He loved his Uncle Bruno very much, whom he looked up to and had the biggest influence on him. As he got older, he became an uncle, and he loved his nieces and nephews very much and cared for them like his own. He was very proud to be an uncle. He took interest in animals and enjoyed caring for them, specifically cats. He was a very caring and loving person, not only to people but animals too.
He is predeceased by his mother, Dorothy Devine; grandparents Mike and Mary Devine; uncles Michael Devine, Gabby Devine, Homer Devine, and Bruno Devine; auntie MaryAnn Smith; and cousins TJ Devine and Tyson Devine.
He is survived by his sisters: Brenda, Sandra, and Twila; brothers: Conrad, Kurt, and Ian; aunties: Adna, Agnes and Rena; uncle Allen, and who he considered his parents, Alice and Bernard Webster. He is also survived by his Red Crow and Beebe Family. His generosity, humor and warm heart will be missed dearly by all.
