DENIS ROSSETTI, beloved husband of Vivian Rossetti of Lethbridge passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, on Friday, August 28, 2009 at the age of 71 years.

Besides his loving wife, he is survived by children Tammy Rossetti of Lethbridge and Lee Rossetti of Halifax, N.S. and a grandson, Mitchel Teichroeb of Lethbridge.

He is also survived by his sister Sally Foote and family of Edmonton and Vivian’s family, mother Bertha Bischke of Lethbridge, brother Roy (Phyllis) Bischke of Wainwright, AB. and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents Luigi and Maria, brother Gioli and sister Nilda.

Denis was born on October 29, 1937 in Lethbridge where he was raised and educated. After high school he worked for the CPR in Lethbridge and Calgary. Denis met Vivian Bischke and they were married September 9, 1961. He then went to work for the Post Office retiring in 1994. He worked part-time at Wal Mart for his entertainment. Denis loved trains and enjoyed model railroading. He also enjoyed photography. Denis was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB on Tuesday, September 1, 2009 at 2:00pm with Reverend Aldeen McKay officiating. Cremation to follow.
