Our condolences to the defers family. Very sorry to hear of don's passing. He was away too young to go. May he Rest In Peace.
To Jennifer, Erin, Lisa and families, Deepest condolences on Don's passing. I went to school with Pat and knew both Pat and Don in high school. When I moved back to Lethbridge they welcomed me and I will always treasure times spent at their home with a group of school friends. There are no words to express how Pat and Don touched my life in so many ways. They will not be forgotten. Leslie Morton (Anderson) and Gerald
We'll cherish the memories of Don, your father and grandfather. Thinking of how kind and caring he always is. Thankful for the the help he so selflessly gave to us through the years.
We shared a lot of life together
Losing someone you love is hard enough but under the restrictions we now have it's even harder. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. We will try to view the livestream Prayer Service if we can get through.
Don we will miss you as part of the family and will always cherish you in our hearts. We love all the family and know you have many memories of such a special Father, Grandpa and best friend. Hugs to all.
We are very sad to say good bye to our dear friend but we are so grateful to have had Don & Pat's friendship for so many years...years that we treasure. We camped together, we had tons of meals together, we became part of their family, and most important, we had hilarious trips to Great Falls. Rest in peace...you will always be in our memories.
Erin, Lisa and Jennifer & families, May you take comfort in the many expressions of sadness with your Dad's passing. I met his and your Mom's deep level of passion and commitment in 1972 when I first came to Lethbridge. They acted honourably on their beliefs on any issue of concern. Most remembered, they provided Sharon and I with quality babysitters and our parish with committed, gracious and talented singers for many years. May you find connection and joy in the time ahead recalling the many ways both your folks (and you by their example) have blessed others positively. Peace to each of you.
Pat, my sincere condolences with the passing of your husband. May God give you the strength to go through this difficult time.
My deepest condolences to the family of Don. I had the privilege of getting to know Don through the work of SOCA. He was a man who believed in honesty and justice, and he worked hard to attain that for our Committee and it's followers. I will always hold dear his openness to share his emotions with everyone. bARB
