MARTIN ARIE DEHEER, beloved husband of Shirley DeHeer, passed away peacefully with family by his side at Legacy Lodge on Monday, September 11, 2023 at the age of 83 years.Martin is survived by his two sons: Marty and Rene DeHeer; three grandchildren: Tyler (Daija), Mackenzie (Kevin) and Riley (Jessica); and one great-granddaughter, Vienna; siblings: Coby de Heer, Dick de Heer, Arie (Gail) de Heer, Jake (Wendy) de Heer, Clara & Hank Van Beers, Jeany & Vick Van Dyke.

A Celebration of Martin's Life will be held at the COALHURST COMMUNITY CENTRE, 527 - 50 Avenue, Coalhurst, AB, on Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M.

Just found out now, that Marty had passed! sorry to hear this, we had some adventures. good & bad. All ways considered him a good friend, who could be trusted, to honer his word. We started D & R concret, he made it work for him.
Worked very hard his entire life. Loved his car. Good sense of humor. Loved his car. Good husband, father, grandfather. Loved his car. I'm sure he's up there looking for a Lincoln dealer. My thoughts are with all of the family during this time. Andrew Ward
I have very fine memories of Uncle Martin, he was quick with a joke and he could spin you a tale and you would buy it 100%. He be missed.
Uncle Martin was the bees knees. He opened my eyes to the other things that were important in my life. I wouldn't tell a lie... I just love how raw and pure he was...just like me.
