DAVIS-SPEARSON, EDWARD LLOYD WESLEY

It is with great sadness and deep regret that our families announce the passing of EDWARD LLOYD WESLEY DAVIS-SPEARSON of Lethbridge, Alberta. Lloyd was born in the Blood Indian Hospital on October 22nd, 1963 and passed away on August 3rd, 2011 at the Chinook Regional Hospital at the age of 47. He leaves to mourn his passing two daughters: Darcy Weasel Moccasin and granddaughter Lexia, Ashley Davis Day Rider (Marvin) and granddaughter Scarlette Eva Mae and his godson Colton Young Pine. Lloyd also leaves his beloved mother Ms. Joanne Davis-Spearson; his father Mr. Wesley Davis and family; his siblings, Pat (Brian) Frank, TJ-Theresa Jane Davis-Spearson, Carrie First Rider-Spearson, Virgil (Hope) Reevis-Spearson, Shaun (Serena) Reevis-Spearson, Tanya (Al) Reevis-Many Fingers, Jim Reevis-Day Chief, Leah Reevis-Day Chief, Jackie Davis, Roxanne Davis, Jarvis Wells, Shannon Wells, Maria Davis; his grandmothers Mary First Rider and Theresa Plume; uncles Roland (Peggy) Big Throat and family, Eugene (Lorna) Creighton and family, Randy (Anita) Bottle and family, Chester Davis and family, Wilburt Davis, Rodney (Levern) First Rider and family, Blair First Rider, Jerry Wells, Winold Creighton; aunties Ms. Bernice Fox, Verna Fox, Frisco Little Light, Rosebelle Yellow Wings, Olive Davis, Vivian Allen Davis, Thelma Brothen Davis, Karen Smith Davis, Pam (Lucius) Wadsworth, Wanda (Scotty) First Rider; his nieces and nephews: Jay Frank, Terrence (Samantha) Frank & their children, Santana, Sapphire, and Maddox, Dustin Frank, and Shelby Frank; Craig Reevis, Shonesty Reevis, and Trent Reevis; Taisha Reevis, and Taiylee Reevis; Sage First Rider, Chayse Buckskin, and Ellie Buckskin; his special cousins Marsha and Noah Fox, Cheryl, Jobe, and Julian Fox, and Annette White Quills-Davis.

Lloyd was predeceased by his grandparents: Jane and Edward Davis, Esabelle and Jim Big Throat-Spearson; his great grandparents: Rosie and Charlie Davis, Cecile and Tom Russell; his great aunts Josephine Fox, Olive Small Face, Margaret Davis, Bertha Davis, Juanita Melting Tallow; his great uncles George Davis, Emil Small Face, Alec Fox, Harry (Clara) Big Throat, and Pat (Paula) Weasel Head.

A Wake Service will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 from 7:00 - 11:00 pm at CHIEF MOUNTAIN CHAPEL (Moses Lake). A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 at 12:00 pm at ST. MARY’S IMMACULATE CHURCH (Blood Reserve) with interment to follow at ST. PAUL’S CEMETERY (Blood Reserve).
