David Delroy Jensen was born December 4, 1931 at Aetna, Alberta and passed away August 31, 2007 at Raymond, Alberta after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson’s. The family wishes to thank the doctors, nurses and all staff at the Raymond Long Term Care for the loving care and support given to Dave and family. Dave was a gifted musician, and talented poet. He had a great love for the outdoors. He loved fishing and camping. He worked as a rancher and to him his job was play. What was most important to Dave was his family. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Waltraud and their five children: Evelyn (Don) Laqua, Robert (Jennifer) Jensen, Andrew Jensen, Wayne (Debbie) Jensen, and Tammy (Erle) Teneycke, and 15 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. His parents, Hans Christian Jensen and Zina Skriver and four sisters and one brother and two grandchildren predeceased him. One sister, Elvira (Stanley) Fuller survives him. A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at 2 pm at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Raymond Stake Centre Building, at Raymond, Alberta.
