CLAUDE JOSEPH CYR, beloved husband of Sylvia Cyr, of Lethbridge, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019, at the age of 69 years.
CLAUDE JOSEPH CYR, beloved husband of Sylvia Cyr, of Lethbridge, passed away on Friday, February 22, 2019, at the age of 69 years.
Besides his wife Sylvia, he is survived by his children Ang?le Simoneau of Drumheller, Claude & Katherine Cyr of Athabasca, Nicole Oullette of Calgary, Renée Cyr (Clay Wheeler) of Red Cliff, Andr? (Keri) Cyr of Spruce Grove, Paul Cyr of Spruce Grove, Donald (Melissa) Cyr of Red Deer, Daniel (Melissa) Cyr of Lethbridge, Julie & Kal Maillet of Fort Saskatchewan, and Marie Cyr (Tim Skahl) of Swan Hills; and 28 grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters Rogelle Boissonault, Nicole Labrecque and brothers Remi and Donald Cyr.
Claude was predeceased by numerous relatives.
A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB, on Friday, March 1, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. with Pat Siedlecki officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Sylvia and family, our sincere sympathy for the loss of your husband and father. Gilbert made me aware of Claude's passing. Thankfully we still have that connection in Spirit River otherwise we would not have gotten this sad news. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
I was sorry to hear of your loss. We offer our condolences. I knew him from Legal, were we played hockey. I too am in Lethbridge now.
We had the pleasure of knowing Claude both as a friend and co-worker for a many years, and we will miss him. Our sincere condolences to Silvia and all your family.

Sylvia & family...I was saddened to hear of Claude's passing. Although we had only met a few times over the years; the conversation always came back to his family and how proud he was of his entire family. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
