MRS. CORINNE ELEANOR MILLER, (nee PITTMAN) of Milk River, AB passed away at the Milk River Extended Care Facility on Saturday, July 5, 2008, at the age of 85 years, following a prolonged struggle with her health. Corinne was born on February 4, 1923 in Warner, AB and in 1943 married Merritt (Heavy). After the war Corky and Heavy returned to Alberta. They spent most of their lives on the farm near Milk River where they enjoyed the companionship of many relatives and friends. Corky is survived by her children; Ken (Mary) Miller, Carol (Harold) Johansen, Marilyn (Jean) Bouchard and Gordon (Val) Miller. Corinne’s 13 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren were cherished by Corky and she will be missed by all of them. She is predeceased by her husband Heavy and grandson David Johansen, as well as many other family members. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers at ST. PETER’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 321 Main Street, Milk River, AB on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at 7:30 P.M. Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at ST. PETER’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 321 Main Street, Milk River on Friday, July 11, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Joseph T. Kalathiparambil Celebrant. Private Interment to follow at the Milk River Cemetery.
