We are saddened to announce the peaceful passing of CHISO CORAZZA, on Friday, August 6, 2021, with his wife and sons by his side
Chiso came from Treviso, Fontanelle, Italy, to settle in Canada and finally Lethbridge with little more than a few dollars, a suitcase, and a dream. He built a legacy that can forever be seen in the countless construction accomplishments around town.
Chiso is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Luba; his sons Kim (Leslie) and Dino (Kaela) and daughter Rita; and grandchildren: Ashely (Jessie), Travis, Tyler, Abbie, and Frankie. He is also survived by extended family in Lethbridge, Saskatchewan, and Italy.
Thank you to Dr. Cunningham, Dr. Janzen, and especially Dr. Wong for their care, the 5B staff at the CRH for their kindness, Palliative Care team for their compassion, and Chiso's many friends for their love and concern.
He was the "Boss" until the end.
Chiso often said he was a "S.O.B." most of his life. Those that know him best also know he would be the first to help out those in need and was a big softie when it came to his "little one" Frankie.
There will be no formal funeral service at Chiso's request. A Celebration of Chiso's Life will be held at KIRKHAM INTERNATIONAL MOTOR TRUCK COLLECTION, 828 - 45 Street North, Lethbridge, AB, on Saturday, September 18, 2021 from 2:00 P.M. till 7:00 P.M., for family and friends to share their stories of this iconic man. Although according to Chiso, "people better not say nice things that I know aren't true."
In Chiso's words, "Don't send me flowers and waste money- instead light a candle and donate to a church." In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saints Parish (2405- 12 Avenue South, Lethbridge, AB, T1K 0P4).

I was a fellow employee of Barry ,he always brought you to tears because you had to laugh so much with his stories and his ways of doing things. The world will be a sadder place without Barry's jokes and kindness. Miss you Buddy

It isn't often that one can claim a friend on the other side of the globe. A friend who can be as close as one's next door neighbours. I count it a privilege to have known this remarkable young man. I hold lots of fond memories of times here in Australia & Canada. We shared so many events across the seas. There is a space reserved in my heart forever xx Much love to you all.
My deepest condolences to you, Luba, and Family. Jim and Chiso shared a bunch of laughs and swapped many a story. They were both hard working men. We'll have to share a coffee, one day, my former, neighbor. Take care. Big Love and Hugs
What can I say about the great man who inspired many. He gave me the hell of my love and taught me lessons that have lasted a lifetime. Thank you to his family for sharing him with us. My deepest sympathies and prayers for you all
Chiso built a building for my husband / our Dad, Don Morris (1930-1992) of Eldorado Petroleums in Shaughnessy, back in the very early 1990s. We remember Chiso as hard working & very fair to deal with...& also a bit loud! Don loved every minute of his dealings with Chiso & would have dealt with him again if he had the chance. They are likely catching up now. RIP Chiso.
Luba, Our very deepest sympathy to you and your family for the loss of your beloved Chico. May the precious memories each of you carry in your hearts, with time, bring comfort. With condolences, Ron & Joyce sakamoto
Luba My thoughts and prayers are with you at this time. With deepest sympathy Lynn and Don Virginillo
Luba and family, I extend my deepest sympathies to your at this time of your loss
They say that when we pass, we will be not be remembered by our accomplishments or physical attributes, rather, we will be remembered by how we made people feel. Just wanted family to know that Chiso made me feel like a valuable person to him. Chiso showed me a level of respect higher than I deserved. Chiso was a very kind man who made me laugh, shared life lessons, and he dealt very fairly with me on business matters. My grandfather was a mason, and I always looked up to Chiso for his business successes, now I realize I actually looked up to him because he made me feel special. Rest in peace my friend. Marc C?t?
I was so sorry to hear of Chiso's passing. He always had an amusing story to share when he would pop into Roest's office, and his visits always put a smile on everyone's face. So, don't cry because he is gone; smile because he was here.
Our deepest sympathy to all the family! Never will he be forgotten.
We send our deepest condolences to all of the Family. Chiso will be remembered as a good friend and a respected business man, "So long Sport"
My sincere condolences to you Luba and your family for the passing of your husband, a father to Kim, Rita and Dino and their spouses, a grand-father and a great-grand-father, and the many friends he left behind. He will be sadly missed by so many more, and my prayers go out to you all at this very difficult time. May he rest in peace.
