Christine Curtis

Besides her loving husband Derick, Christine is survived by her daughter Diane (Chris) Kotkas of Lethbridge; her grandsons: Joel (Kristen) Kotkas of Lethbridge, Jarred (Amanda) Kotkas of Calgary; and great-grandchildren: Briggs, Camilla, Remy and Ava.

She was predeceased by her parents Albert and Hilda White, brother Alan (Elcena) White and sister Pamela Cuel.

Christine was born in Leicester, England and moved to Lethbridge with her husband and daughter in 1970. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend.

She loved children and worked with Lethbridge School District 51 as a teacher assistant for many years. She was a compassionate woman who touched the lives of many families.

Christine had a love of travel. She visited many locations across the globe including her most recent mother daughter trip to Hawaii.

She adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and in recent years they were a significant part of her life.

She touched us all and will be greatly missed.

A special thank you to Dr. Gibb and all the medical professionals who provided care to Christine during her stay at the Chinook Regional Hospital.

As per Christine’s wishes, a private gathering for family will be arranged at a later date.
