ERNEST ROY CHRISTIANSON passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital, in Lethbridge, on Sunday, June 10, 2012 at the age of 82 years. Besides his wife Jean he will be dearly missed by his daughter Barb (Dwayne) Osberg, son Doug Christianson, and daughter Patti (Kevin) Swidinsky and step-daughter Val (Shane) Pinnock. His grandchildren Kristopher and Kirsten Osberg, Stephanie Christianson, Joshua, Nicholas, and Rylee Swidinsky, Spence (Kim) and Allison Pinnock and one brother-in-law Don Blair. He is predeceased by his parents, Roy and Lillian, his brother Ken (Butch) and his sister Lois. Ernie was born in Lethbridge on June 20, 1929. He was raised a true northsider. He graduated high school from LCI and later received his Journeyman Electrician Certificate from SAIT while apprenticing with Roy Electric. He continued his 30 year career working for Central Electric and the Alberta Government. He loved spending time with his family and friends. He enjoyed camping, building model airplanes and doing puzzles.
