Dear Joanne, Brad, Kelly, Laurrie, and families: I was so sorry to receive Eldon's e-mail with the sad news of Allan's passing! He was a good friend and neighbour, and a much valued member of the Armada/Lomond community! I will always be grateful for the huge amount of time and work he put in to help establish our community water line, and remember well his involvement with the Lomond Community Centre addition and other important local projects. I will remember him for his hearty laugh, his devotion to family and farm, and his hospitality and friendliness. It was with great regret that I missed his service ... I am out of the country right now but I am thinking of you all! My nieces Whitney and Kirby said that the service for Allan was truly wonderful ... warm, touching, and very well done! My sympathy is with you and your extended family at this difficult time. Marvin Maronda

The kind and gentle person he was, I'm sure the one who made him, realized how special he was, to be left in the midst of this cruel world. He belongs to a place that is kind, a place that is away from all the hassles of this world. May his spirit experience celestial peace and heavenly bliss.
