Carl Babick
MR. CARL BABICK, beloved husband of the late Lucille Babick, passed away at the Chinook Regional Hospital on Saturday, November 24, 2007 at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his children Lorne Babick of Lethbridge and Lorraine Babick of Red Deer, grandchildren Russell (Astrid) Weninger of Edmonton, Stephan (Andrea) Weninger of Red Deer and Marie (Paul) Henderson of Calgary and great grandchildren Allison, Haley and Ethan of Red Deer. He is also survived by his mother-in-law Alice Brietzke of Linden and former son-in-law Bernie Weninger of Lundbreck. Carl was predeceased by his wife Lucille, son Duane, parents Mary and Kalman, sister Irene and brother John. Carl worked at Sicks/Molson’s Brewery for 40 years; he also worked at Marshall Auto Wreckers and the #8 mine in Lethbridge. He loved sports, gardening and being with his family. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at ST. BASIL’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 604 - 13th Street North, Lethbridge on Friday, November 30, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. Interment to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
