MR. WILLIAM (BILL) RAYMOND CAHOON, beloved husband of Bonnie and devoted father of Johanna, Sandra, Doug and Kyle, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 18, 2010 in Calgary, AB.

Bill was born in Cardston, AB on May 15, 1937 to parents Leonard and Alice. He lived the majority of his full life in Southern Alberta where he raised his family and developed long lasting friendships. Bill was an exceptional carpenter who constructed numerous buildings all over Southern Alberta. He also enjoyed the farming life and always strived to give his family everything they desired.

Besides his loving wife Bonnie, Bill is survived by his daughters Johanna Jones and family of Calgary, Sandra (Dan) Furgason of Lethbridge; son Douglas (Colleen) Cahoon of Victoria BC; grandchildren Christie Swartz, Mitchell Cahoon, Kimberly Cahoon-Mein, William Cahoon and Peter Cahoon and a soon to arrive great grandchild.

He is also survived by his mother in law Gertrude, his sister Pearl (George) Kolasko, several nieces and nephews and sisters-in-laws Marlene and Marion. Bill was predeceased by his son Kyle, parents Leonard and Alice, brothers Lorraine, Merlin, Norman, Leland, Leo, John, Bob; sisters Marie, and Aileen.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2800 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge, AB. on Saturday, January 23, 2010 between 12:00 and 1:00 P.M.

A Funeral Service will be held at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at 1:00 P.M.. For those who wish, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Box 2211, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 4K7.
