ANNA "ANN" BROWN passed away peacefully with family by her side, at Fairmont Extendicare on Monday, September 13, 2021, at the age of 96 years.
She is lovingly remembered by her son John (Carol) Brown, daughter Mary (Shane) Howard, grandchildren JoAnn Deal (Abe Friesen), Jean (Derek) Cope, JD (Doug) Whillans, Janice (Del) Hildebrand, Allen, Terry (Renee), Jeff and Brittany Brown, 14 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Ann was predeceased by sons Jerry Boyko, Alex Brown, her parents and siblings.
Ann was born on April 26, 1925 in Chillary, Poland to parents, Wasyl and Paulina Zoroka. She emigrated to Canada in 1950 and settled in the Picture Butte area. In later years, she lived in Lethbridge. Ann enjoyed curling, bowling and playing Bingo however her passion was growing beautiful flower and vegetable gardens. She was a talented crafter and created many beautiful crochet doilies and quilts.
Her family would like to thank the staff of Fairmont Extendicare and Dr. Smith and Dr. Horne for their compassionate care.
A Funeral Service will be held Monday, September 20, 2021, at 11:00 AM, at CORNERSTONE FUNERAL HOME, 2825 32nd Street South, Lethbridge, AB.
The service will be live-streamed and will be available to view via Ann's obituary on the Cornerstone website.
