BRIAN CURTUS KONDOR, beloved husband of Michele Kondor, passed away unexpectedly, due to heart failure, at Chinook Regional Hospital on Monday, April 27, 2026 at the age of 54 years.

Besides his loving wife Michele of 30 years, Brian is survived by his children: Nikolas, Derrick, and Rachel. He is also survived by his siblings: Christine (Barry) Kostiuk, Yvonne Millette, Tracey (Mike) Kondor, and Martin (Benita) Kondor. His surviving in-laws include his father-in-law Ben Senneker, and in-laws: Colin (Margaret) Senneker, Lloyd (Mary Ellen) Senneker, and Rex (Romina) Senneker, alongside numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his parents, Aloysius and Jeannette Kondor, his brother Steven Kondor, and his niece Megan Kondor. On Michele’s side of the family, he joins his mother-in-law Henny Senneker, and his nephews, Bryce and Jordan Senneker.

Brian was born on November 1st, 1971 in Taber, Alberta. He grew up on the family farm in Vauxhall. There he met Michele and they married on February 17th, 1996, before building a beautiful family and a wonderful life together. They moved their family to the outskirts of Lethbridge in 2009. Brian has been a Telecommunications Superintendent at Ledcor for over a decade. He had an immense passion for his job and met many great friends throughout his time there. Brian was a devoted husband and father; his family meant the absolute world to him, and he cherished every moment he spent with them. Although his time on earth was cut short, Brian was known for his hard work ethic and quiet generosity. He was a trusted friend and was always a kind-hearted person who was willing to share his vast knowledge and help others whenever he was needed.

Brian will be missed dearly by his family and friends. He lived well, laughed often and loved very deeply.

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

As per Brian’s wishes, a private family graveside will be held.

I want to share my deepest sympathy to Brian's family. As a work colleague, Brian was a great person to have in our team. I sometimes got phone calls from him early in the morning as he would be going to a job site, and I knew that if he was calling it was going to be a good chat. Brian was always helpful and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that things went well. He was a very genuine man and I respected him greatly. As I John 3:16 in the obituary, I wanted to share John 14:1-3 with the family as well. May you all find peace in the coming days. With love, from Abbotsford - Eric
