Bill was born the ninth child to Isaac D. and Maria (Friesen) Braun on a farm near Blumenthal, SK on Dec. 16, 1941. At the age of five the family moved to the Taber, AB area.

For those that knew Bill well knew he was a very talented man with an eye for perfection, whether it be restoring vehicles or creating to-scale replica buildings, his passion came to life.

He was predeceased by his son Mark, parents Isaac and Maria; brothers Henry, Abraham, John, Jacob, Cornelius, George and David.

A private family internment will be held. All those who knew Bill are invited to join the family for a celebration of life on July 22, 2023, 2 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion in Fort Macleod.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Royal Canadian Legion Branch #46 or Willow Creek Foundation (Pioneer Lodge), Fort Macleod.
