LINDA MARY BRAUN, born August 24, 1945 in Taber, AB, wife of Carl F. Braun of Lethbridge, AB, passed away June 29, 2012 at St. Michael’s Palliative Care Centre at 10:30 P.M.

She is survived by her husband Carl, and three children, Robert Braun (Pincher Creek, AB) Kelly Braun De Rojas (Calgary, AB) and Norman Braun (Edmonton, AB). She is also survived by six grand-children, three sisters, and three brothers. She was predeceased by one sister, Louella Wiens (Striemer) and one brother, Edwin Striemer, as well as one child, Sheila May who died in infancy. Linda was much loved by everyone she knew and will be sorely missed. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister who enjoyed travelling and visiting friends and family. Her concern for others and strength of character never left her. Her ashes will be scattered at Mountain View Cemetery in the Garden of Peace in Lethbridge.

In lieu of a memorial service or flowers, those wishing to express their condolences may do so personally with a note, a phone call or a visit to celebrate her life and reminisce.
