Hirsche, Brad

June 23, 2024

On the morning of June 23, 2024, in God’s perfect timing, Brad was taken from this life and has gone on his next journey.

Brad was born November 28, 1970 in Fort Macleod and raised on a small ranch west of town. It was here where he came to have a true love of animals, especially horses. He found out early in his life that horses, like dogs, share a profound bond with humans. Brad experienced this in his life. He found that being around his horses, there was a peace and tranquility and place where he could be himself, no pressure no judgement. He quoted me once saying, “The reason I love horses, they never break your heart.” He loved to ride and rope. There, he found freedom.

He leaves to mourn his two sons, Cody and Justin Hirsche, who he loved and was so proud of who they became; their mother, Candace Snyder, and his three beautiful granddaughters, Lexi Quinn and Parker, who to him, were the cutest and the best; his mother Marion Hirsche; his siblings: Brent Hirsche and family, Tracy Thomson and Family, Michelle Poelman and family and Guy Hirsche and family.

He was predeceased by his dad, Reed B Hirsche on September 2, 2023.

Rest in peace Brad, your struggles in this life are over.

Thank you to everyone who was there for Brad.

As per Brad’s wishes, no formal funeral will be held. Cremation entrusted to Cornerstone Funeral Home. Brad will be privately remembered by his family and friends.

In Brad’s memory, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association (diabetes.ca) or a charity of one’s choice.
