Lucy Boron was born September 14, 1932 in Bialoboki, Poland. She immigrated to Canada after WWII and moved to Manitoba at age 17 with her family. Later making her way to Lethbridge, she met her husband Ted and raised her four children. Lucy had a long career at York Farms where she made great friends. She enjoyed going to dances and travelling. She spent time touring the USA, visiting Poland with her daughter and witnessed her granddaughters getting married in Kelowna, Mexico and Jamaica. We remember her amazing meals and wonderful baking. She spent a lot of her retirement helping care for her grandchildren teaching them how to sew, bake and play dice. She was devoted to the Catholic Church and faithfully attended service at St. Basil's where she worshiped with her community.
