INEZ EILEEN BOGNER (nee Shimp), beloved wife of the late Tom Bogner, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, February 12, 2017, at the Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge at the age of 88 years.
She is lovingly remembered by her children, Carol (Tiv), Wayne and Randy (Jane); grandchildren, Quincy (Brent), Fraser (Trish), Cameron (Candace), Sophie (Colton), Alexandra (Logan) and Emma (Jeff); and great-grandchildren, Taylor, Danielle, Ashton, Chandler and Finley.
Inez was predeceased by her sister Iris and brothers, Bill and Babe.
Inez was born in Vulcan where she met and married Tom and lived until 1959 when they moved to Lethbridge. She worked as a receptionist at Dr. Kuipers' chiropractic office until she retired. Inez was a very active social butterfly, who loved the Lord and His promise of life everlasting, her church, her family and her friends.
After a long and healthy life, Inez fell, fracturing her hip. Following a successful surgery and one month recovery, Inez tragically fell again, which resulted in her passing. The family will be forever thankful for the special care and attention our Mother received from the nurses, doctors and staff during her short time at the CRH.
Inez was much loved and her death has left an unspeakable emptiness in our lives. See you in Heaven, sweet Inez; Mother, Grams, and GG.
A Celebration of Inez's Life will be held at the CENTRAL CHURCH OF CHRIST - 716 - 23 St. North, Lethbridge, AB on Saturday, February 18th, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastors Harold Cooper and Jim Chapman officiating.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to your favourite charity.

May the God of all comfort meet you at this time of great sorrow. Only knew her for a short time and she was a special lady. God bless.
Dear Carol, Tiv and family. I share in your sorrow for the loss of Inez... a lovely woman who touched many lives. I remember her warmth and humour as we grew up together, Carol, and always admired her strong family values. Hoping that your wonderful memories help ease your pain over the weeks and months to come. With Love, Donna

I sure enjoyed coming in to take care of your Mom. I promised myself I would be there for her till she didn't need me anymore. I guess Tom needed her more. Take Care Inez

Tiv and Carol and Family! We were deeply saddened and shocked to hear about your Mom! We have many good memories of your Mom! Always enjoyed seeing her at your many Family Gatherings! Our last one, being Christmas Eve. So glad we were able to be at her last Christmas Eve Event! Inez was a sweet and gracious lady, and will be sadly missed. Sorry that we are not able to attend her funeral, but will see you all soon. Love Sue and Lyle
