BLUST, LENA &QUOT LEE&QUOT

BLUST MRS. LENA C. BLUST, of Milk River, AB., passed away peacefully in the Milk River Health Care Centre, surrounded by her family on Saturday, June 2nd, 2012 at the age of 87 years. Lee is survived by Bernard, her loving husband of almost 49 years, her children, Steve (Jacquie) Cooney of Charleston, S.C., their children Leslie (Kevin), Lucas (Kelly), Emily & Rebecca (Caleb); Paul (Charlotte) Blust of Milk River and their children Stacy (Aaron), Adam (Lea), Michael and Warren; Janine (Rick) of Gilford, Ont., and their children, Josh, Justin (Nikki); Gail (Arnie) Bushulak of Calgary and children Dawn (Sanjeet) & Kimberly; Cindy (Duane) Middleton of Champion and children Scott (Lansey), Kevin, Lisa and Jodi; Myles (Colette) Blust of Calgary and son Michael; Kevin (Liz) of Calgary and children Jessica, August & Emma. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren: Evan, Jacob, Paul, Anna, Gage, Olivia, Jake, Maya, Vivienne, Savera & Kaylee; 6 sisters-in-law and 1 brother-in-law, and many nieces & nephews. Lee was predeceased by her parents, Josef & Katarina Hegglin; 2 sisters, Rose Gaudart and Anna Hegglin; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Lee was born in Southey, Saskatchewan on Dec. 27, 1924. She was raised on a dairy farm just outside of Regina. She later worked in the restaurant and bakery business. She married Bernard Blust on November 9, 1963 and lived on the family farm in the Masinasin area until 2008 when they moved to Prairie Rose Lodge in Milk River where she lived until her passing. Lees’ love was being a homemaker & spending time with her family who always looked forward to her pies & cinnamon buns. She will be greatly missed by her family & all those who knew her. Prayers will be held at ST. PETER’S CATHOLIC CHURCH, 321 - Main St., Milk River, on Tuesday, June 5th, 2012 at 7 P.M. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the church on Wednesday, June 6th at 11 A.M., with Reverend Dominic H. Nguyen, Celebrant. A reception will follow, then interment in the Allerston (Alberta) Cemetery.
