MR. ALBERT JOHN BLOCK passed away suddenly in Lethbridge on Thursday, June 3, 2010 at the age of 73 years.

He is survived by 2 brothers, George of Pincher Creek and Henry of Milk River; 4 sisters, Anne Tacholsky of Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Marion (Robert) Andres of Sparwood, B.C., Selma (Henry) Reimer of Herbert, Saskatchewan and Adeline of Herbert, Saskatchewan. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. Albert was predeceased by one brother, Jacob; 4 sisters, Tina Block, Sarah Block, Susie Wiens and Helen Epp. Albert was born in Beechy, Saskatchewan on December 4, 1936.

Albert had lived in Lethbridge for many years. Although he was a quiet man and kept to himself, he would be seen in the downtown area of Lethbridge always cleaning up what needed to be clean. He believed that the downtown area should be as respectful as possible, and was even presented a certificate for his efforts.

Cremation with interment to be held at a later date in Saskatchewan.
