BLAIR PEACOCK

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of BLAIR ROSS PEACOCK at the age of 66 years after a courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years Pat Peacock, daughter Caylee (Rob) Rothe, brothers Del (Shirley), Garry (Deanna) as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Hector and Rita Peacock. Blair was born and raised in Lethbridge. Blair started work delivering pop for Sicks Lethbridge and then went on to work for Molson Brewery for 35 years until it’s closing in 1990. He then continued on at Loomis Armored Cars for another 10 years. His retirement then consisted of the Food Channel and the Cook Book section of various stores. He enjoyed his culinary skills as did his family and friends. He also loved gardening and he was very particular with his yard work. His enjoyed his trips on Sunday to the recyclers with his dog Baxter as well as camping, fishing and golf. Blair will be remembered for his dry humour. Many thanks to Dr. M. Amatto and the nurses from Palliative Care and Lethbridge Home Care. A Celebration of Life will be held at the ROYAL CANADIAN LEGION, 324 Mayor Magrath Drive South, Lethbridge on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 1:00 P.M. The family requests casual attire. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 317-10th Street South, Lethbridge, AB, T1J 2M7.
